The severe earthquake’s impact now hits Delhi. And the center point is Nepal.

You all know that a few years ago the epicenter of the earthquake is Nepal. There was a big earthquake of 7.8 magnitude in 2015. Many people died, and damage caused. More than 8,000 people killed and more than 21,000 injured.

 After several earthquakes in Nepal on Tuesday, strong tremors felt in Delhi. The first earthquake occurred at 2.25 p.m.

Severe earthquake’s impact in Delhi

According to the National Centre for Seismology, the earthquake had a magnitude of 6.2 and a depth of 5 km. The earthquake also felt in parts of India, including the capital New Delhi, and surrounding areas including Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, and Uttarakhand . 

According to the country’s National Seismological Centre. An earthquake of 5.3 magnitude struck western parts of Nepal on Tuesday afternoon. But there is no news of any damage yet. 

Severe earthquake’s impact in Delhi

People came out of homes and office blocks in parts of New Delhi as tremors were felt in some northern areas.

  • The first earthquake struck at 2:25 p.m. A magnitude 4.6 quake that struck western Nepal at a depth of 10 kilometers.
  • The second earthquake struck at 2:51 p.m., an even more powerful 6.2 magnitude shock.
  • The third earthquake occurred at 3:06 pm, magnitude 3.6, at a depth of 15 kilometers.
  • The Fourth time earthquake struck at 3:19 p.m. magnitude 3.1 at a depth of 10 kilometers.
  • An earthquake of 5.2 magnitude struck Arunachal Pradesh at 3.27 pm Indian time. And a 3.3 magnitude earthquake struck Uttarakhand a few minutes later.

After this incident, everyone was sent out of the building, office, and school and its video went viral on social media.
