What is PCOD?

PCOD (Polycystic Ovarian Disease) . This can be called a disease of women’s ovaries. Mostly it affects the ovaries of women only. Reproductive organs regulate progesterone and estrogen hormones from our body And this is what helps us in our menstrual cycle.

Symptoms of PCOD

Symptoms of PCOS include irregular menstruation or absence of menstruation more than 35 days, This menstrual cycle occurs 8 to 10 times a year in normal women. But PCOS patient have 5 to 6 menstrual cycles in a year, which is not normal. Painful and prolonged periods, period cramp’s pain, Excessive hair growth, mood swing , acne & pimples, pelvic pain, difficulty in conceiving a child, heart disease and diabetes, Related diseases also include type 2 diabetes, obesity, obstructive sleep apnea, heart problems, depression, and endometrial cancer, abnormal  weight gain issue , Skin darkening , 

Causes of PCOD

Insulin resistance , Insulin is a hormone. It works to metabolize the sugars inside our body.However, sometimes insulin, which is a hormone in our body, is not used properly and due to this the sugar level in our body decreases. The sugar levels increase and the insulin levels also start increasing. It increases the secretion of male hormones called androgens inside our body. Increase in androgen level causes PCOS in us. Research has shown that sometimes this disease also occurs due to genes. If someone in your family like your mother or sister has PCOS problems then definitely you too will have it. Due to low grade inflammation, the risk of cancer and heart disease in the human body increases. And sometimes our unhealthy lifestyle also becomes the reason for this disease of women’s ovaries.

How to cure this 

PCOD can be controlled by diet and lifestyle modifications.Along with medicines, if we have a healthy lifestyle then definitely some of our home remedies also help in keeping our health fit and this helps in getting rid of PCOD.

1. Do medical tests for a cure – At first you should consult with your gynecologist. Need to do Pelvic test , blood test and ovarian test also.

2. Control increasing weight – Increasing obesity causes many such diseases and we should not allow obesity to increase. Therefore, we should eat such healthy food daily and keep doing workout or exercise daily so that our weight remains within the limit.

3. Take a healthy diet – Eating mostly outside food or eating refined flour items can increase fat in your body.Therefore, you should mostly eat healthy food so that it does not make you gain weight.Eat as much high fiber and protein food as possible.

4. Do exercise – Daily exercise is very beneficial for our body.Along with our body, it also makes our mental health very healthy.Because of which we can think something good and do some good work with a very fresh mind.

5.Reduce to take carbohydrates – We should avoid all the foods related to carbohydrates as it harms us.Along with weight gain, it also promotes many diseases in our body.

Take mostly high fiber and protein  foods in your daily routine because it gets easily digested and will also be good for your health.Like Broccoli, Carrot, cauliflower, red and green peas, green vegetables,Walnuts,almonds,Chia Seeds,  sweet potatoes, and pumpkin, Banana , Apple , Strawberries, Egg , fish , chicken.Avoid carbohydrate foods as much as possible. Like Pizza , pasta , bread, potato , junk food , fried food , and avoid oily & spicy food , red meat also.Avoid all gluten related food.
Do exercise daily. Like  Yoga , workout, walking.Avoid going to sleep immediately after eating.Due to this, your food will not be digested properly and fat will increase in your body.
Drink all types of healthy vegetable juice and fruit juice.Avoid drinking Alcohol and smoking.
In weet you can take Jegurry and honey.Avoid taking sugar and salt.
